It is hard to deny that the way we plan and build our cities greatly influences its inhabitants quality of life. From the way we move either by foot or vehicle, or gather through the use of open public space, it is encouraging to know that the architecture profession will have an influential role in the Border Land region. Just recently, the Planning and Economic Development Department released two extensive volumes called, City of El Paso, Texas Comprehensive Plan. These publications offer a detailed insight of what El Paso could become in the future. We encourage all visitors and associates to visit Plan El Paso and look through the various plans offered in these volumes.
